SR Linux System Engineer

Responsibilities include:

• Lead/Work in a team of system engineers to deploy and support a complex data center infrastructure
• Troubleshoot site impacting issues with databases, cron jobs and applications bugs
• Evaluate, design, advise, implement and integrate products and controls into various platforms, network devices and systems
• Participate in third tier on-call rotation
• Prepare technical designs as well as high-level flowcharts and schematics
• Aid in the awareness of standards and best practices, as well as enforcing these standards

Qualifications include:

• BS in Computer Science Electric Engineering or equivalent
• Perl and/or Shell Scripting knowledge a plus
• Strong troubleshooting acumen
• Effective communications skill and style
• Solid commercial experience working with Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, SUSE and Debian)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation is a must; ideal candidate will have experience with complex TCP/IP networks
• ITIL training and certification a plus
• Experience training, mentoring other Systems engineers/administrators
• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance a plus; must be able to obtain a Security Clearance

SR Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities include:

• Creating design documents for custom system requirements required for a particular engagement
• Design of advanced systems by researching and evaluating complex systems to develop detailed understanding of customer's needs
• Work with the QA team to isolate and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Design, implement, analyze and modify systems for various applications
• Work as a team member on highly complex technical/programming projects under minimal direction of SR Management
• Perform analysis, write program specifications and develop designs for medium to large scale projects
• Troubleshoot complex development and production application problems and provide technical and production support on an on-call basis

Qualifications include:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in Perl/C++
• Strong knowledge of methodology, tools, standards and procedures
• Extensive experience programming in Java/J2EE in Unix/Linux environment
• Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming and/or developing software systems a plus
• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance a plus

Customer Support Representative

Successful candidate must demonstrate a strong customer service focus, telephone experience, and effective verbal, written, and keyboard skills. Customer Service Representatives must project a positive, helpful attitude while being an active listener, assist customers by phone and email, and be able to multi-task.

Assist customers in a help desk environment with after sales support, which may include information requests. Help users with operational questions, as well as software configuration.

Skills and abilities required:

• Word, Excel, knowledge of email programs, i.e.; Eudora, and MS Office applications.
• Solid understanding of computer software, i.e.; Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Cookies.

Experience:

• 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 - 2 years experience and/or training in a fast paced helpdesk environment and familiarity of computers and applications.
• Individuals must work cooperatively, and establish positive cross-functional relationships within the organization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a plus.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
