It is vital that your computer is up to date with the latest operating system updates so that Anonymizer Universal runs properly.
Step 1 – Install all operating system updates
Windows XP
To download the most recent updates for Windows XP, visit the Microsoft site at: http://www.update.microsoft.com
Note: Run Windows Updates through Internet Explorer. Wait for all recommended updates to finish installing (even if you have automatic updates active).
Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

Once all updates are installed and the computer has been restarted, please check for updates one last time. After verifying that your computer is up to date, download and install Anonymizer Universal using the steps in the next section.
