Anonymizer Anonymous Surfing 1.5 Help
Please refer to the instructions below to best utilize Anonymous Surfing.
Introduction
Anonymous Surfing provides simple, 1-click privacy. With Anonymous Surfing working silently in the background there is minimal to no impact on your browser speed.
Similar to most anti-virus software that you can “set and forget” you turn on Anonymous Surfing once to protect yourself on the Internet and it will automatically run each time you are online. We utilize our Network Chameleon Technology TM to redirect your web traffic through our secure servers, ensuring that your online identity is always hidden and protected.
For more robust protection, you can turn on “enable surfing security.” This feature works by creating an encrypted virtual tunnel from Anonymizer to your computer, shielding you from even the most sophisticated methods of online spying.
You’ll use the Setup Wizard the first time you launch Anonymous Surfing after installation. Enter the Registration Key that was provided to you when purchased the program.
Enter a password of your choice. We encourage you to use something that you will remember easily.
You’ll see this “success” screen once you’ve completed the setup process. At this point, you may choose to launch the Anonymous Surfing program or open Help.
There are two ways to start the program.
The first is from the Windows Start Menu. Navigate to Programs, within the Start Menu, and then you should see a folder named Anonymizer. The Anonymizer 2005 program is inside of this folder. You simply click on it and the program will open.
The second way to start the program is through your Systems Tray, which is located on the lower left portion of your monitor. If Anonymizer 2005 is running, the icon will appear in that area and a left-click on the icon will bring the program window to the front of the desktop. If you right-click on the icon you will see the following Anonymous Surfing menu options: Anonymous Surfing On (turns the program on), Anonymous Surfing Off (leaves the program turned off), and Exit (closes the program completely).
