Issue: Cannot connect to OpenVPN – v1.3

Error Messages(s): Error Codes(s):
The connection to the OpenVPN server timed out while authenticating user information. N/A
The connection timed out while getting configuration information from the OpenVPN server. N/A
The connection timed out while contacting the OpenVPN server. N/A

Resolution(s): These errors occur when OpenVPN authentication times out on the server side, Anonymizer Universal cannot retrieve configuration information from the server after authentication is complete or the server is unavailable. Most likely, this is due to an unavailable OpenVPN server, a blocked connection to universal2.anonymizer.com, or the OpenVPN driver may not have installed correctly. This error can occur while using both UDP and TCP mode of OpenVPN, however, we find the issue most prevalent using UDP mode.
