Outlined below is the process to configure ESET NOD32® Antivirus/ESET Smart Security® 2014 to allow Anonymizer Universal.
Step 1
Right click ESET icon and select “Advanced Setup”
Step 2
Click “Rules and Zones” and “Setup”
Step 3
Click “New”
- Name:
- “Anonymizer”
- Action:
- “Allow”
- Protocol:
- “TCP & UDP”
Step 4
Click “Local” tab then “Browse”
Step 5
Look for the “Anonymizer Universal.exe” application. Usually it is in the Anonymizer Universal subfolder of the Anonymizer folder, inside your Program Files (x86) folder, if you have a 64-bit version of Windows, or Program Files if you have the 32-bit version of Windows.
Step 6
Once you click “Open” it should take you back to the previous screen. Click “OK”
Step 7
Click “OK” again and “OK” to close out the “Advanced Setup” Util.
