Verify that Smart Firewall is allowing Anonymizer Universal
Step 1
Go to Network, and then Smart Firewall. Click “Configure” next to Program Rules.
Step 2
Look for Anonymizer Universal and make sure that it is set to Allow under access
Step 3
Click “Modify” while Anonymizer Universal is highlighted. Verify that the description contains “Allow, Direction: In/Out, Computer: Any, Communications: Any, Protocol: All”
Step 4
If the Smart Firewall does not contain those program rules for Anonymizer, then create them by referring to the steps below; otherwise click Ok to close the prompts.
Step 5
To Add Anonymizer Universal to Smart Firewall, in program rules, click “Add.”
Step 6
Search for the Anonymizer Universal executable file on your computer and click Ok once you’ve located it.

In the window that appears, select “Allow Always” and click Ok.
Step 8
Since it was set to Allow Always, it will contain the settings shown in the previous steps.
