Error Messages(s): Error Codes(s):
  1. Access denied because the username, password, or both is invalid on the domain.
  2. (L2TP) Access denied because the username, password, or both is invalid. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive.
  3. (L2TP) The specified port was disconnected by the remote computer. This may indicate that your username and/or password is invalid.
  4. (OpenVPN) Access denied because the username, password, or both is invalid. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive.

Resolution(s): This error is caused if you mistype your username and password, or if your Anonymizer Universal account has not yet been activated, or has expired.

Please log in to your Anonymizer account and ensure that Anonymizer Universal is listed as Active in “My Subscriptions.”

Open the Anonymizer Universal Interface

// Step 3

Click on “Change Account”

// Step 4

Enter your “Username” and “Password” in their corresponding fields. Be sure to check the “Save Information” box and click “OK”.

Please carefully type your password. Copy/paste is not recommended as it is easy to add leading or trailing spaces. This changes the password. Spaces are characters.

Please note: Passwords are case sensitive.
